Yeah... I realize how little I've been updating, but I just haven't been in a ranty mood...
So, now that I've remembered something to rant about and I've been told to update it by an influential person or persons who might remain anonymous until I let her or their names slip (I don't say "his" because there are so few influential males in my life, none of whom read my blog, unless they don't tell me they read it.), I continue my rantfulness. Joy and rapture all around, eh?
So... Today's rant is aboot... A new anime series I've found!
It's called "Ouran High School Host Club," and, despite the fairly long title (that's nonetheless fun to say), is very very enjoyable.
Basic Plot outline: ((Wikipedia entry)) ((cus I tried writing my own, but it was very difficult to explain without giving away the plot detail that drew me in, after watching the first episode.)) My advice to you is download the first ep, watch it, then, if you like it, watch more.
... That really is the best way to find out about this series, the secret I didn't want to divulge is the real hook to it. Sorry I can't be of more use.
Best parts of the series: The Twincest is very funny, Honey is adorable, Tamaki is an idiot, and running gags run rampant. I also enjoy the Zuko Club (enters in episode 9), mostly for their leader, who I think is OBVIOUSLY a drag queen (even though everyone in the series refers to him as female, even with his fairly deep voice, and how he always plays male characters in the Zuko Club's plays) and I can't help but giggle at the official name of their group, "The White Lily Group."
That's pretty much all I have to say. You can find torrents of the eps on Anime Suki, click on Anime > Series, then go to O, and click on the Ouran High School Host Club link. I recommend the subs by Lunar.
