[insert witty phrase]

One teenager's rantings that are too bothersome to him to be contained to the pages of a book but too personal to be put in an easier-to-find place.

I'm kinda short, pleasantly plump, and a usually calm individual. There are many things I would love to do (or be able to do), including learn to speak various languages (some of which are Greek, Japanese, and Russian) and to be able to shapeshift (What? I never said they were all realistic). I also believe that everyone should, at least one day in their life, crossdress. It's a very interesting experience.

And I dub thee... poorly.

Random fanboy kick: Most anime is dubbed poorly. And now that kick is done.

I recently found a site with streaming anime video (hosted by youtube.com), and I have been hooked since this weekend. But can you blame me? Access to all that anime, and me with my obsessions? Mmmm.... FullMetal Alchemist... (Fanboy kick part 2: Mmmm... Riza...)

... Aaaaaaaanyways...

I have discovered a fun series called Kashimashi: Girl Meets Girl (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kashimashi). If you're too lazy to follow the link, it's about a boy named Hazumu Osaragi (a rather meek quiet boy, somewhat effeminate), who, after being rejected by the girl he likes, goes off to the place he first met her (the conviniently nearby mountain) to forget her... don't ask how that makes sense. But the craziness doesn't stop at logic failures! Oh no, of course, when he gets there, on a conviniently open cliff, ALIENS FALL FROM THE SKY RIGHT AT HIM! DUN DUN DUNNN! And from that, the aliens take him abord their ship, fix him as best they can, and announce to the world what they have done, and the complications that arose when fixing Hazumu, specificly that he became a fully-functional she. The aliens return him to the ground and fly off, leaving him to deal with his new situation (with which, to tell you the truth, he doesn't have that much of a problem).

Random though it may be, I enjoy it, but then again, it's exactly my type of series.

Arf!

Yarr!

I have been on a piracy kick today, me mateys!

Wikipedia is a wonderful tool. You should use it every day. *nodnod* You can learn many a new thing there.

For instance, did you know that the name for Wednesday comes from the name of the Germanic version of Odin? or that there is a version of chess stemming from Alice's Adventures in Wonderland?

Bet ya didn't.

Yarr! International Talk Like a Pirate Day is September 19, but Dress Like a Pirate Day is whenever you feel like it!

I'm new at this...

Um... Yeah. Like I said, I'm new at this, so... Until I come up with a good idea to fill this thing with (perhaps random thoughts or short stories), I'll probably put various things I've been working on or things that happened today here.

Hmm... I wonder how long it will take the girl who sometimes stalks me to find this...

The Norse Gods have the COOLEST names! Loki, Balder, Wodin, Freya, Thor...

I shall name my firstborn son "THOR."
